Brock Lesnar has not appeared on WWE programming for nearly two years, and there are currently no plans for his return. The ongoing legal situation involving Janel Grant, where his name has surfaced amid allegations, suggests that WWE may hold off on bringing him back until these matters are resolved.
Recently, a fan on Instagram claimed to have had a conversation with Lesnar, who allegedly stated that he has retired from wrestling and does not intend to return to WWE. However, this information has not been officially confirmed by Lesnar or WWE, leading to increased speculation regarding his future in the sport.
While the future of Brock Lesnar in combat sports remains uncertain, a credible source indicated that his retirement status is unpredictable. A report from a media outlet noted that Lesnar was seen at a steakhouse in Austin, Texas, where he responded to inquiries about a WWE comeback with a non-committal, “We’ll see.”
Legal Issues Delay Brock Lesnar's Return
Lesnar's brief response has only added to the intrigue surrounding his current situation, leaving the door open for a potential return to the WWE ring. His removal from WWE's creative plans followed his mention in a lawsuit filed by Janel Grant against Vince McMahon and other former executives, which led to the cancellation of his appearances at the 2024 Royal Rumble and WrestleMania XL, where he was expected to face GUNTHER.
In late November, WWE Raw General Manager Adam Pearce sparked rumors about Lesnar's possible return at Survivor Series 2024 by sharing a cryptic image of him being stretchered out of the ring with Paul Heyman. However, reports later clarified that any references to the former champion were merely intended to enhance ongoing storylines.
According to Ringside News, WWE has placed Lesnar's contract on hold, and his status as a talent is currently classified as a legal issue. Until these matters are resolved, he is not anticipated to return to WWE programming.
